Re: Rule Book 2019

The reason for the removal in my opinion was for safety. The stock charging systems were not designed for turning 8000rpm engine speeds. The magnets come unglued chewing up the stator and locking up the engine. Also in a closed sportster primary, the magnet pieces are sent through the transmission. ...

Re: Rule Book 2019

Marty for years now you have allowed us to not run charging systems. This is what happens when the rule book is not kept up to date. Several years ago you allowed us to not run a charging system. Atleast 3 years ago. CHARLEY DOUGLASS

Re: Regarding double points at the Rock Finals

The only fair way to double points is to have a double race. Qualify and race 1 race on Saturday, then qualify and race another race on Sunday. You would earn the points you receive instead of getting double points for having a good weekend and 1 race having such a deciding factor for the championsh...

Re: Fuel Injected Electronics

If its a safety issue 74" is fine with me, but we shouldnt take technology away to get it. I will not run traction control. 74" and gen 2 clutch is enough change for one year.

Just for the record, in 2012, our first AMRA race, I did not use any data. The data was turned off and a piece of tape was put over my switch so I wouldnt, out of habbit turn it on.

Ok so you dont control wheelies or spinning or launch with fuel , only ignition? List of names of the people that use wheel speed and clutch sensor. I'll start Charley Douglass been on my bike since before I bought it in 2008. So are you saying traction control is legal at 70" ? You can't polic...

The advantage of using efi isnt that it performs better than carbs, it's that you now have tuning data that is not legal for the carb bikes.

Re: Fuel Injected Electronics

The electronics involved in data gathering vs data controling. I am willing to give up my wheel speed sensor, its actually reading off of my transmission sprocket, but I want to use my clutch sensor. The clutch sensor is Not worth 4" of swing arm.
